Payment & Refund Policy
We invoice using Google Checkout for all credit/debit card payments. For payment via check, mail checks, payable to "Alaska Galore Tours" to P.O. Box 32825, Juneau, AK 99803 - payment in full required at time of booking if paying via check.

We require a 50% refundable* deposit when you book if you pay via credit/debit card. There is an additional 3% administrative fee assessed for all credit/debit card transactions. To avoid the fee, payment in full is required at the time of booking/invoicing. 

A credit/debit card number may be required to 'hold' the reservation until your check is received and cleared.  

If you choose to pay only the 50% deposit via credit/debit card, you will be assessed an additional 3% fee and the final balance will be processed on the Friday prior to your trip.

*If your cruise ship or flight is delayed or canceled, and we are unable to reschedule, or if we cancel for any reason (including weather) a full refund will be issued.

If for some unforeseen reason (illness, mechanical, etc.) we are unable to provide the service, we will place you with another licensed boat and captain or refund your money.

Office Hours
To book your personal Alaska Galore Tour (or even if you just have questions), give us a call. Our offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Juneau is in the Alaska Standard Time Zone, which is 4 hours behind Eastern Time and  1 hour behind Pacific Time.

Ground Transport
Transportation to Auke Bay Harbor from downtown Juneau is provided and pre-arranged for you. Cruise ship docks are located in downtown Juneau. We will also provide transportation from/to most Juneau accommodations.

Fish Processing
We work with local processors to have your catch professionally processed and shipped to your door. We will assist with your paperwork and ensure that your fish is safely delivered. Once that happens, the processor will contact you directly for payment and shipping details. Depending on how you choose to have your fish processed, rates are  $5-$8 per pound which includes FedEx shipping.

Licenses
Fishing licenses are mandatory for anyone 16 years or older. King salmon stamps are also required for those fishing during the King season (captain will advise). Both licenses and stamps are available for purchase aboard our boats and are payable in cash or travelers checks only. Current pricing is $20 for a one-day fishing license and $10 for a King salmon stamp.

Food
Snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water are provided on board for everyone. Lunches are provided for trips lasting 6 hours or more.

Clothing
We recommend dressing in layers and suggest a T-shirt, sweatshirt, and a light jacket as well as long pants and comfortable, soft soled shoes - tennis shoes are fine.

Gear
All necessary fishing gear and bait is provided for fishing charters and binoculars are provided for whale and wildlife adventures.
